Start your ski journey now!
Hi, I’m Jay!
I’m a PSIA-certified ski instructor with a lifelong passion for the mountains. My love for skiing started at a young age, thanks to my mom’s enthusiasm for the sport, and it has only grown stronger over the years. I've had the privilege of skiing and racing in various countries around the world and have spent the last 10 years living in San Diego—where I’ve found the perfect balance between winter sports and beach volleyball.
Teaching has always been a big part of my life. From coaching multiple sports to mentoring and teaching graduate courses, I thrive on helping others improve. When it comes to skiing, my goal is to help you achieve your goals in a safe, comfortable, and fun way—whether you're a first-time skier, preparing for a trip, or just getting your ski legs ready for the season.
With over 30 seasons of skiing and racing experience, I’ve learned from some of the best instructors and coaches. My background in orthopedic sports medicine and biomechanics allows me to quickly identify areas for improvement and design the most effective drills to refine your technique.
If you're ready to take your skiing to the next level, let’s chat! Email me at info@sd-ski-lessons.com.
WHAT'S WITH THE CARPET?
THE REVOLVING CARPET PROVIDES A FUN AND FOCUSED ATMOSPHERE WHERE YOU HAVE THE UNDIVIDED ATTENTION OF YOUR INSTRUCTOR. IT'S GREAT PREPARATION FOR GETTING BACK ON SNOW AFTER A SUMMER LAYOFF, BREAKING THROUGH A LEARNING BARRIER, REHABILITATING AN INJURY, OR SIMPLY TRYING TO STAY SHARP IN BETWEEN SKI TRIPS.
